Hello,
My customer has an inquiry regarding hardware design compatibility between the TPS1685 and TPS1686.
Although the two products feature different packages—LQFN-CLIP and VQFN— the customer reports that they are very similar in terms of actual pin mapping and packaging size, with the exception of the Pin 12 definition.
Is it acceptable for users to use a single hardware design (PCB layout) to ensure compatibility between two products?
