I am reaching out regarding the discontinued TI part UC3903DW, for which we are currently exploring a suitable drop-in replacement for our design needs.
During our evaluation, we identified UC1903J as a potential functional match; however, it is currently available in a through-hole (THT) package, which presents some constraints for redesign requirements. With that in mind, I would like to kindly inquire whether there is any possibility of offering UC1903J in an SOIC-18 package variant, or if there are any recommended alternatives that would better align with our program constraints.
Additionally, let me if original UC3903DW part can still be supported, considering annual demand of 2000 units for next 10 years.
