AM26LS31M: Difference Between 5962-7802301MEA and 5962-7802301MEX?

Hello,
I know there was an older part, 5962-7802301MEX, and that it appears that has been superceded by 5962-7802301MEA. Or something to that effect. But I need to know the differences between the two.

Could someone please assist?

It's the lead finish; see section 1.2 of the SMD.

Hi Scott,

As Clemens mentioned it is technically the lead finish. The device ending in 'X' is a more general PN that includes the "A". You can see it in Appendix A of the MIL-PRF-38535.
