In 10/100 Mbps Half Duplex mode, is it correct to assume that the Carrier Sense (CRS) and Collision (COL) information detected by the DP83867IS is notified to the MAC side according to the information transmission method for Half Duplex defined by the RGMII standard?
We are currently reviewing the RGMII specifications for Half Duplex operation on the MAC side as well, and we want to ensure that the transmission methods for Carrier Sense/Collision information are compatible between the PHY and the MAC.
Therefore, could you please provide the following information?
- The RGMII standard version supported by the DP83867IS.
- The method of transmitting Carrier Sense (CRS) / Collision (COL) information over the RGMII interface during Half Duplex operation."
