TVP5146M2: NTSC Square Pixel Support

Hi,

I know TVP5146 which is now considered NRND has built in support for NTSC Square pixel.

Buts it replacement TVP5146M2 has deleted ALL reference to sqaure pixel from the data sheet, although they have identical regsiter structure the Square pixel related bits are marked reserved in the TVP5146M2 manual.

I see a FW patch from 2010 labeled

So 3 questions:

1. Do we need to load the patch or we can expect new ordered parts now in 2026 to have this patch already loaded?
2. If we do need to load the patch how is this done?
3. Should we use the TVP5146 datasheet to see how to handle square pixel, or there is some update to manual for this?
