Could you please confirm whether the TPS25751 can be used in conjunction with USB Type-C DP Alt Mode switchTUSB564?
My understanding is that the PD controller must support DisplayPort Alt Mode negotiation and control in order to properly enter DP Alt Mode, determine the pin assignment, detect cable orientation, and configure the corresponding Alt Mode switch/redriver.
If TPS25751 does not support DP Alt Mode, please confirm whether this combination is feasible. If not, could you kindly suggest a suitable USB Type-C PD controller that meets the following requirements:
- DisplayPort Alt Mode support and control
- Dead-battery support
- Compatibility with DP Alt Mode mux/redriver devices such as the TUSB564
- DRP operation
