TL16CP754CPM unused pins termination

For TL16CP754CPM, we are not using   the handshake signals for most of the ports. This includes RTSA, CTSA, DTRA, DSRA, CDA, and RIA. Most of these handshake signals are inputs.

Are these signals internally terminated so that you do not have to add termination resistors to the unused inputs (CTSA, DSRA, CDA, RIA)? Can these signals be left unconnected? There is not much discussion on this in the data sheet.

    Hello Himansu,

All unused inputs should be pulled to the inactive state (i.e., to Vcc for active low and to GND for active high signals). A 10K resistor is recommended. All unused inputs (active low) can share one 10K pull-up resistor.

    Best Regards,
