Dear all,
I am using a pca9306 as voltage translator in a I²C bus. Vref2 is set to 5V and Vref1 can be set from 1.2V until 3.3V (over a LDO regulator TPS73201). I first used a 200KOhms pull-up resistor on Vref2 and I could not get under 2.4V on Vref1. After some research on the forum I found lots of people having that problem due to the pull-up resistor beeing to small. I put a 1 MOhms pull-up and can reach now 1.8V on Vref1 but not lower... Should I just put 2 MOhms or is there something else goign wrong? I use exactly the schematic of the datasheet, SDA/SCL pull-up on the 5V side are 2K and on the Vref1 side 1.2K. Would it help reducing these pull-ups?
Thanks a lot for your help?
Mickael
PS: it would be good to have a note in the datasheet concerning this problem...
