IO Expander failure during the I2C detect test.

Hi Sir / Madam ,

This is uthirapathy here from avnet .

One of my customer is desing a hand held Terminal based on DM3730 ,and they have used the 3 I2C Expander like 24 Bit TCS6424 , 16 Bit  TCA6416A & 8 bit TCA9554A different peripherals connection but all of these devices are not detected from our software i.e when we do basic I2C scan ( to check all the devices on the bus) these devices don’t show up. They would normally expect a acknowledge from the device after sending  a valid address byte, we don’t get the first acknowledge from the device.  Please give your valauble suggestion.
