Hello,

For TUSb2077A USB hub, I would like to know the max trace length that can be used for the down stream ports to a back panel and front panel. I came across the link below in another posting on e2e.

Can this part drive 18 inches length as suggested in this Intel design guideline ?

Also, what is the max trace length that can be used for AM3894's USB port ?

    The TUSB2077A is a USB full-speed hub with a maximum data transfer speed of 12 Mb/s.

    The Intel guidelines you linked to are for USB high-speed (480 Mb/s) connections which obviously prenet a mcuh greater challenge than does 12 Mb/s.

    There should not be any issues in driving 18" of trace.

    As far as comment on the AM3894, you will need to postthat question in the Sitara MPU Forum.
