The ISO1176T is dedicated Profibus transceiver ISO1176T,

Please check if itcan be used for standard Modbus?

Profibus requires higher voltage swings (2V vs 1.5V) and less input capacitance (10pF vs 15pF).

Modubus only requires standard RS485 performance.

So YES you can use the ISO1176T for a standard Modbus application.
