I am trying to setup TCA6416A port expander for I2C. However, the interrupt does not show up on my MCU (TI part). Does the INT pin need a pullup strictly to make this work?

Hi Sarang,

The TCA6416 has an open-drain interrupt therefore you are correct a pull-up resistor to VCC is required.
