Dear Miss/Mr,
Previously we designed RGB666 to 18-bit LCD panel display by using SN75LVDS83B on Nvidia T20 platform, and now we are changing to a new platform which only has RGB565 data but we still want to keep the same LCD panel.
My question is: from the application datasheet, we only can see 24-bit, 18-bit, and 12-bit color from the host; if we have to use RGB565 which is 16-bit, how can we do the connection? My understanding is pull up/down the low bit R0 and B0 to VCC/GND, is this correct?
Could you please give some advice on this application?
