Hi,

I'm looking for a DUART that has a SPI interface - any recommendations?

Hi Calum,

TI does not currently have a UART with a SPI or I2C interface. We are considering these for our roadmap but there are currently no firm plans.

Calum,

please check our MSP430 site. These low-power micros posses multiple (2,3,4 +) peripheral interfaces which often are used simply for interface conversions. These controllers are relative inexpensive when compared with hard-wired interface bridges.
