Hi,
My customer has the following questions regarding XIO2001 in the PNP package:
I am using the latest data sheet document SCPS212E May 2009 Revised 2011.
The device that we are using is the XIO2001IPNP device.
There is no signal definition for PNP pins that are different from the ZGU and ZAJ.
What are the following signals? and how the should they be connected?
- Pin # 74 VDD_33_MAIN
- Pin # 76 VDD_15_MAIN
- Pin # 83 VDD_15_PCIE?
- Pin # 84 VDDPLL_15_PCIE?
- Pin #92 VDDA_33_REF_CLK?
- Pin # 78 VDDA_15_PCIE_RX
- Pin # 85 VDDA_15_PCIE_TX
Can you please explain the power rail concept for each pin. For example do I need a dedicated filter power rail for each of the inputs VDDPLL_15_PCIE, VDDA_15_PCIE_RX, VDDA_15_PCIE_TX or one for all.
2. On the reference design the resistors between Ref0_PCIE to Ref1_PCIE (232OHM and 14.3K) are 0805 1/8W. Do they have to be 1/8W? what is the current/Voltage between these two pins?
3. The PNP does not have ground pins. Is the thermal pad a ground pin?
