Hi, the ONET8521T is said to be used in fiber optic receivers . Can it also used in visible light receivers?

    Michael,

    The photdiode converts the light into a current and the TIA converts the current into a voltage. Therefore, the frequency band of the light detection is determined by the photodiode.

    The typical application for the device is for fiber optic communications in the 850nm or 1310 to 1550nm windows.
