Hello everyone,

I've read posts requesting for conversion to DVI to parallel RGB and other interfaces....

My question is whether a parallel RGB signal from a source can be captured. I've listed the pin details below. The requirement is to capture/ acquire these signals and display them in the PC. Any suggestions for COTS or otherwise is greatly appreciated.

Hello Kannan,

Do you need a RGB-to-DVI ?

If so, you can use the TFP401

If not, you can look at the DaVinci(http://www.ti.com/lsds/ti/dsp/platform/davinci/whats_new.page) technology processors which have extended video features.

kannan, can you use a logic analyzer to capture/aquire/display signals?

thanks for your reply.

yes, a Parallel RGB to DVI converter would be helpful in my case. I will be able to capture the DVI signals. I believe, you wanted to refer TFP410 and not TFP401. I am unable to find any eval board for TFP410. if possible can you please point me where I can get the board for quick analysis?

thanks for your suggestion, a logic analyzer could be used but, my requirement would be to reconstruct the parallel RGB data back to an image.

We don't have TFP410 EVM for sale, however we might be able to loan one.

Can you send you contact info: Name, company, address, what is the TFP intended for, market segment.
