I have a customer which is working with the DP83640TVV Ethernet Phy. They want to cancel the autonegociation status chanching the values of the register BMCR. We have tryed many times with different devices and we send the order to modify some bits of the register BMRC, but when we read again nothing has been changed and it continues in status "autonegotiation". Maybe we are missing something..but we have checked the manual and no chance. Does anyone has any application note about this?
