Best practice for splitting CLKREF on PCI-e

I am looking at creating a PCI-e card with multiple XIO2001 controllers. Each XIO2001 would go to a single lane on the PCI-e 4x or 8x bus.
As PCI-e only provides a single REFCLK for each slot (x4 or x8), is it as simple as breaking the CLKREF lines out to each XIO2001 part?

Or, if anyone has any recommendations for a part similar to XIO2001 that can handle multiple PCI inputs and route them each to PCI-E lanes?

Hello Chris,

Yes, you can route the REFCLK signals to each PCIe device.

How many PCI devices are you going to interface with? Because the XIO2001 is capable of handling several PCI downstream devices.
