TLK110 loopback test passed PCS out, fail @digital

TLK is set to 100M RMII mode. The program works well when set to PCS outout loopback, but when I changed to Digital loopback, it failed. Nothing else is changed in code. what should I check? thanks for help

I tried the External loopback, shorted pin 1&3, 2&6 on the ehternet port, and the program works. I do not why it cannot pas digital loopback.

Another interesting thing is if either one of 1&3, 2&6 shorts is removed, just one pair is shorted, such as 1&3. It still works. I also donot know how could this happen.

  • Hi Harry,

When using Loopback, TLK should be configured to FORCE_100 HD/FD to perform 100m loopback.

loopback is not supported when TLK is configured to ANEG.

please check that AN_0,AN_1 and AN_EN Strap inputs are configured correctly.

    Best Regards,
