Ti Team,
I was told the the LMH0387 does not support SMPTE 372 (dual link HD-SDI data rates.)
Can you please confirm this?

David,
Please explain how you would like to use the LMH0387 3G/HD/SD SDI configurable I/O to support dual link.
The LMH0387 can be configured as either an SDI cable equalizer or an SDI cable driver. The same device pin is used for both the equalizer input and cable driver output, which allows the flexibility to use a single BNC as either an input or output. The LMH0387 will support dual link as well as or better than any SDI equalizer or cable driver.
SMPTE 372M defines a dual link HD SDI implementation based on SMPTE 292M. The LMH0387 can be used to either receive (as an equalizer) or transmit (as a cable driver) these HD SDI signals. Since this is dual link, there are two HD SDI signals, so you would need two LMH0387 devices to either receive or transmit these two signals.
If the two HD SDI signals are combined into a single 3G stream (i.e. SMPTE 424M), then the LMH0387 would support the equalizing or cable driving of this 3G SDI signal as well. In this case, you would only need one LMH0387 to either receive or transmit the signal.
