I am using the TLK100 and a RJ45 w/ built-in magnetics.
I see that the termination is 50 ohm to ground on each line of Tx, Rx.
What should the PCB trace impedance be?
50 ohm single?
100 ohm differential?

Hi,
Since the +/-TD and +/-RD signals are differential lines, you should keep them 100Ohm differential impedance.
An easy way doing that is selecting the trace width, thickness and height from ground for each single ended trace (Microstrip Line) to get 50Ohm impedance.
Then only change the space between the traces to get 100Ohm differential impedance.
Thanks,
Noam
