DS90UH925Q resistor "LINK Status"

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS90UH925Q

Hello,

What does "LINK Detect" indicate in the register "General Status (0x0C)" of DS90UH925Q?

I know that Rx is connected is indicated by RX DET in "HDCP STS (0xC4)" and that Rx locks is by RX Lock DET in the same register.
But what is "Cable link detected"?

Thanks.
Oguri

  • Hi Oguri-san,

The LINK Detect bit (925 reg_0x0C[0]) indicates that the serializer has detected the presence of the back channel transmitted by the deserializer. If this bit is not detected, that measn there is a fault condition (short, open, etc). See SERIAL LINK FAULT DETECT on p. 16 of the datasheet for more details on the faults indicated by this bit.

    Regards,

    Ryan
