Hi,

We are using P82B96 for extending I2C with 3-4 meter cable with 5V VCC. Any recommenddations for ESD protection on the cable side on both ends (Host and remote)?

Are P82B96 IC and I2C lines to the micro protected if Rx and Ry lines are short to Vcc or GND?
