Adrian
THe DS25CP114 is an LVDS crosspoint, and DVI uses TMDS, which although similar to LVDS, is not the same. The physical layer for TMDS is CML (Current Mode Logic) terminated to 3.3V and is typically DC coupled. The output of the CP114 would not have the proper DC biasing to work seamlessly in a DVI system.

Hi,
Thanks for the info Mark. They need a LVDS output so in that case, this device is suitable correct?
Adrian
Yes, although the DS25CP114 is an LVDS device, it will accept inputs with a common mode voltage across the power supply range of the device, so it should receive the DVI signals just fine.
The CP114 outputs are LVDS
Hi Adrian,
Have you tested the conversions successfully? I am planning to use this for HDMI to LVDS (display) . Your comments are welcome.

Vijay.
