'TUSB1210' min output delay

Hi,

The min hold requirement per ULPI specification-rev1.1 is 1.5ns in input clock, 8-bit data mode.

Does TI's USB Phy ( TUSB1210) provide the min output delay (clock_to_out) time to meet this spec. ? Min output delay is not mentioned in the Phy datasheet.( see datasheet Table 6-6. ULPI Interface Timing )

Would be great if you can help with this.

Hi Nivedita,

yes, you are right referring to the missing specs on the table 6.6, but on the features summary of the device (page 6 of the datasheet) you can notice that the TUSB1210 is fully complaint with the "UTMI+ Low Pin Interface (ULPI) Specification Rev. 1.1", therefore you shouldn't be worried about it.

For input clock mode:

TDC, TDD Min = 1ns Max = 6ns

For output clock mode:

TDC, TDD Min = 100ps Max < 9ns
