TLK100 Design & Layout information needed

Hello, all.

Now we are designing TLK100 on our power meter application.

Then, I would like to know about the hardware design hint on the layout.

As I could find your manual, 1469 PHYTER® Design & Layout Guide, which literature number is; SNLA079C, this seems not be aimed for TLK100.

Please let us know whether we could refer this guide into the case that we use TLK100 as well.

    Hi,

    We don't have a dedicate design and layout guide for TLK100.

    You can use the 1469 PHYTER® Design & Layout Guide (SNLA079C) for general design tips, with the following exceptions:

    • The PINOUT of the TLK100 is different when compared to TLK110 or the DP parts
    • The TLK100 requires external POR
    • If using external oscillator for Xi one need to make sure its level is 1.8v
    • The TLK100 can work with either external 1.1v and 1.8v power supplies or use a single 3.3v supply and activate the internal LDO's for 1.1 and 1.8
    • You can browse through the DS at: http://www.ti.com/product/TLK100 check design guidelines and power supply configurations.
    • External voltages customer EVM "TLK100EXTEVM User Guide"  look at page 4 for a brief on the block diagram.
