SN65LVDS104 : AC coupling input

Please advise me on usage of SN65LVDS104 in AC coupling input mode.

When output of DS15EA101 is interfaced to DS65LVDS104 (as a fan out buffer)
The output common mode level of DS15EA101 is ~2.9V which exceed ANSI EIA/TIA-644
(up to 2.4V). So, AC coupling is required.
When SN65LVDS104 is sued in AC coupling mode, can this device be used without any external bias network?

Hi Mita,

The SN65LVDS104 needs to be externally biased if you are using it in AC Coupled mode. The V_OC(SS)for the LVDS104 is between 1.125V & 1.375V so a simple resistor divider can be used to set that common mode voltage.
