Please advise me on interface between DS92LV1021 and DS15BA101.

Can the LVDS output of DS92LV1021 be DC coupled to the differential input of DS15BA101?

The DS15BA101 datasheet specifies the input common mode range as bellow
VICM Input Common Mode Voltage N+, IN- Min 0.8; Max VCC – VVID/2

In other portion of the datasheet describes as bellow:
The IN+ and INpins are self-biased at approximately 2.1V with VCC = 3.3V.

If DS15BA101 input is DC coupled to LVDS output?

Hi Mita,

If you were using an AC coupled method the input pins of the DS15BA101 are self biased to the common mode voltage of 2.1V when 3.3V is supplied. Since you want to use a DC coupled method as long as you stay within the DS15BA101 common mode limits (Min = 0.8V; Max = V_CC - V_ID / 2) you will be OK.

Hi Mita,

Yes, the DS15BA101 can be DC coupled but care needs to be taken during design to ensure that the voltage levels laid out in the data sheet are not exceeded.
