SN65HVD230D

Hi,

Kindly let me know the difference between the following IC's.

1)SN65HVD230D

2) SN65HVD230DR

3) SN65HVD230DRG4

All these IC's have same package and pin outs. Not able to figure out what "DRG4" means.

Can anyone please help?

Regards

  • Hi Jayamohan,

The short answer to your question is that they are all the same IC. The 230D comes in tubes of 75 IC's, while the 230DR and 230DRG4 come in reels of 2500 (the R stands for Reel).

The G4 part number was introduced as the 'Green' version after the part was originally released. Initially, there was a difference between the G4 and non-G4 versions, but now they are all the same - Rohs and no Sb/Br.

I hope this helps clear things up!
