An earlier question (TUSB9261 documentation, clock and power) touched on the requirements of the clock input (whether it was intended to be from a 1.8V oscillator or a 3.3V oscillator).  The unexplained response was that it should be 1.8V CMOS.  The data sheet does specify a Vih minimum value of 1.05V for the XI input, but there is no spec for the maximum voltage that can be applied to the XI pin.  Would a 3.3V oscillator violate some maximum allowable input voltage on this pin?  What is the max input voltage spec for XI?
