MIPI CSI to serial LVDS interface

Hello,

I am looking for an interface chip that can do MIPI CSI to serial LVDS.

The LVDS signal has to be coded such that it can be transmitted via a twisted pair over a couple of meters.

The MIPI standard states an optional feature to encode the 8bit symbol into a 9bit symbol. That would have been great for transmission over long cables. The 9bit symbol has enough high/low transitions to keep a local PLL tuned. However, it seems that the image sensor developers ignore this nice feature. Hence it is not possible to transmit the data without the clock signal.

Due to this, I am searching for a chip that can do the stupid MIPI CSI with 8bit symbols to a LVDS signal with some sane coding to be transmitted via AC coupled twisted pair.

Any helpful comment is most welcome.

Best regards
