Hi,

Would like to ask a question regarding delayed transactions.

Refering to spec on pg 61 section 3.3.3.3 Delayed Transactions first paragraph

"In general, I/O controllers will handle only a single Delayed Transaction at a time, while bridges may choose to handle multiple transactions to improve system performance."

1) Would like to understand how XIO2001 handles Delayed Transaction.
2) If it is designed to handle multiple transactions, can this be turned off?

I apologize for the long delay.

The XIO2001 handles the Delayed Transactions just as it is on the PCI Specification, ...when a PCI device sends a request to the bridge, the bridge will respond with a Retry and complete the transaction internally, then it will generate a Delayed Completion and will communicate that to the Device the next time it retries the transactions...

the XIO2001 support 3 Delayed Transactions and it cannot be disabled.
