SN65LVPE502A and 502B differences, IBIS models

Hello,

I have two questions regarding the SN65LVPE502A:

1. There's a hint on the SN65LVPE502A product page about a 502B version with a different pinout. However, I can't find any information in the 502A's datasheet (except for a 502B order no.). Could you give me an indication about where to find any information?

2. Unfortunately, there is only a HSPICE model available. Could you also offer an IBIS model for the SN65LVPE502?

    Hi Thomas, you are correct that the 502B version isn't described in the datasheet.  I believe there was some system error that prevented the updated version from going online.  The 502B has minor changes: no OS1 and OS2 pins, and different pin numbers, and I believe this was done in order to match the pinout of other industry devices.  For new designs, it makes sense to use the 502A.  As for the IBIS, this is currently being generated, and should be complete several weeks from now.
