SN65HVD31D

Dear sirs

In a project, we use the SN65HVD31D FULL-DUPLEX RS-485 DRIVERS AND RECEIVERS. It is used just for a peer to peer connection and connected on both side with a microcontroller. Now my question: It is allowed to switch off the power supply on one side of this peer to peer connection (the other one would be still supplied)? What's about the voltage levels on microcontroller side. My idea would be to switch the microcontroller as well (on the same side like switching off the SN65HVD31D).

Best regards

Tom
