For keeping the TCA9406 in always ON operation, should we connect the OE pin directly to Vcca or through a resistor?
In the datasheet, on page 2, there is a design note below the Typical Operating Circuit - OE can be tied directly to 1.8V (VCCA) to always be in ENABLE mode.
Next on page 9, Figure 1. Typical Design Example - OE pin is connected to Vcca through a resistor. Is the resistor required for keeping the device in always ON operation?
