SN75DP129RHHR _ no signal issue ( DP to DP)

Hi,

Can I ask SN75DP129 about DP to DP support?

- Application is Video Card for Digital Monitor.

  -> Quadro K5000

- DP port 1.2 support

issue:

There is no signal from DP video card Nvidia Quadro K5000.

(no Input signal in case of DP to DP!)

But OK in case of DP to HDMI.

 - DVI to HDMI : OK

 - DP to HDMI : OK

 - DP to DP : no signal.

 design Spec :

 -DisplayPort 1.2 supprt(include Audio) small size DisplayPort 1.2 connector : Muti Stream Technology,

 - support Stream Copy and Very High resolution panel(3840x2160 @60hz).

If you have some check points, Please let me know...

    DP129 is a level translator designed for a DP++ interface to TMDS (either DVI or HDMI).  It does not support a DP signal on its output.

    Thanks for your reply..

    In case of Graphic Card DP V1.1,

    -> There are no problem "DP to DP" on Current Board(Equipment),

    But, recent Nvidia Quadro K5000(Graphic Card DP V1.2),

     -> There is no signal from DP video card Nvidia Quadro K5000.

     

    If something different between DP V1.1 and DP V1.2,

    Pls let me know what is different?

     

    System configuration :

    receive DP signal from [DP Jack] through [DP Translator IC],

    enter from input terminal to [TMDS(HDMI) of SOC].

    that is, same with DP to HDMI Translator Cable System.

    Not really sure what the new DP V1.2 would have changed this level translation application.  DP-DP should not have been allowed in V1.1.  Do you have a schematic and a brief block diagram of the system configuration you could share?
