Hello,
Can I dynamically change the assigned address of TCA6424A by changing the state of its ADDR input? I understand that this cannot be done when an I2C transaction is underway, but once data transfer has completed, can I change the state of the ADDR pin?
E.g. I would like to connect more than two TCA6424A units on the same I2C bus and then use the ADDR pin as chip select. I can provide more details if the scheme is not clear.
