I have a TUSB2961DEMO kit, i want to use it in the UAS mode:

- The host is a Windows 8 machine with Renesas xHCI µPD720202 card, I connected a 2.5inch SATA drive on the SATA interface of TUSB2961DEMO board and plugged the USB cable from board to the host, but I do not see a new drive under "My computer", whereas If I plug the USB cable to a USB 2.0 port of the PC, I see a new drive.

Is there any issue in my setup or something else ?

Hello,

We have tried using a Renesas 720202 xHCI Host controller on a Win8 system and the new drive under “My Computer” has correctly enumerated, the only concern that we have found is that the new drive takes around 40-60 seconds to appear under “My computer”, also we tried using our TUSB73x0 xHCI host controller and we are able to see the “new driver” faster (5-10 seconds).

Hello Roberto,

Did you use native Windows 8 xHCD and UASP drivers ? Or you had to install some specific drivers to get UASP working ?

We are just using the native Windows 8 xHCI driver.

Hi Roberto,

We design a new board with TUSB9261. We can load the fireware V0.99 to the SPI flash succed.but when we unplug and plug the board on PC, it show that load the drive for mass storage device faild. do you know what's the problem?
