We have the product concept where two boards are connected together by B2B connectors together. That's why PHYs are near (~10cm) to each other.
Questions:
Is it possible to connect two PHYs together without using transformers (isolation is not needed) if yes, how that can be done?
If transformers are used there might be signal problems because transmission line is shorter than 0.5m right?
