Greetings,
I have a question concerning the internal pullup / pulldown resistors for the TLK2711A input pins. I'm a bit confisued because on page 5 of the datasheet (SLLS908B –JULY 2008–REVISED OCTOBER 2012) the footnote said (1) Internal 10k pullup, (2) Internal 10k pulldown. On page 6 the footnote is vice versa.
In addition the (note) for input TKLSB is (2) and for TKMSB is (1), both listed on page 6 of the datasheet. That would mean if I leave both pins unconnected, TXD0-TXD7 will always be sent as K-Code and TXD8-TXD15 as data.
Which input pins have internal pullup and which internal pulldown resistors?
