On the demo board there are a number of GPIO’s that are hooked up to LEDs, but I’m not going to use all of them.

The bridge’s software comes from TI, but is there a way to not use some of these GPIO’s? I don’t see a way in the

TUSB926x Flash Burner/Re-Programmer software to do this.

Yes, you can develop your own firmware to configure the GPIO per your needs. You will need Code Composer to compile the firmware. You can "burn" the new firmware into the demo board using the Flash Burner software you mentioned.

Hello,

We no longer provide the firmware's source code, so the GPIO's functionality is "hard-coded" on the default firmware.

Hello,

I am using the TUSB9261 to interface to a CFAST card, and would like to connect the CFAST Card Detect signal to an input GPIO.

1. Are any of the GPIOs configured (hard-coded) to interrupt the USB host?

2. Is there a USB command which allows the host to read the GPIO?

Hello Tony,

There will be a feature on the upcoming firmware release to manipulate some of the available GPIOs through HID.

Let me ask our firmware developer about it and I will provide you all the details.

Hello Jorge,
I just finished the first 10 prototypes of a small SSD drive using TI´s TUSB9261 chip. Some LEDs should indicate an error or disc full but i didn´t found the HID documentation for accessing the GPIOs. Firmware is the latest 1.05. Can you send my some information about the HID communication to "entwicklung[at]merz-christian.de" ?
By the way, programming the SPI flash was not possible with the internal bootloader until i used M25P10 device.
