Dear Sir

Good days,

We have use DP83848J(MII)  POS machine and we have to ping, we can ping 100M , but we can't ping 10M.

May you have some suggestion for us or may you have DP83848J initial code or register set up value can advise us?

We have try to use NXP  MAC  EVB(EVB is DP83848C  on EVB). it can ping100M and 10M.

    Hi Bogey,

    The ability to ping comes from the MAC. once the PHY established link, its role is over.

    you mentioned that in 100M link you can ping but in 10M you can't.

    Did you evrified you established link in 10M mode?

    How does your setup looks like? do you use ANEG for 10M link establishment? for this you need to configure the PHY to atop advertise 100M, in order to establish only 10M.

    Do you use HD or FD?
