Hi! I would like to know if it is possibile to drive a sfp+ with xfi electrical interface or do i need any intermediate pre-emphasis and equalization ICs?

Hi Kaiyu,

The TLK10021 does not have the capability of driving sfp+ with xfi electrical interface as this part was developed before there was a standard for sfp+.

TI does have the TLK10232 though which is capable of driving sfp+ with xfi electrical interface. If you are interested in learning more about this device we can move this conversation off line?
