CW laser current driver, modulable in the MHz range.

HI everyone,

I need to drive my CW laser diode with a regulated current (250 mA). However, this diode must be connected to a feedback correction system to lock the frequency of the laser.

The frequency correction system will output a control signal which I want to use to adjust the current the driving current and lock the laser frequency. This control (correction) signal is in the Megahertz range (i.e. >1 MHz).

In other words, the feedback loop adjusts the driving current of the laser as same as the automatic power control loop (APC), but my feedback circuit operates at a high frequency as the correction signal is in the MHz range. consequently, an analog modulation is required to be applied to the current driver circuit that feeds the laser operating in CW mode.

could you please provide me with useful information and which devices and documents should i need to check for that purpose ?

Kind regards,
