DS64MB201 - Tj(MAX)

Hi, could you please let me confirm about the Junction Temperature description in the datasheet ?

In the datasheet P.5 Junction Temperature Range is said as "+105C" for  TJ(MAX).

Isn't this a typo ?

I think 125C would be correct.

Family product of DS64BR401 and DS100MB203 have TJ(MAX) = 125C in the ABS MAX Ratings.

I would tend to agree with you that 105C is probably a typo - the max operating condition is 85C ambient, theta JA is almost 20C and power dissipation is about a watt which means that junction temperature under normal, recommended operating conditions could be very close to 105C.

I will verify with some of the development team, but I would assume that the Abs Max junction temp is 125C.

  • Mark-san,

    Thank you for your reply.

I believe that TJ(MAX) is 125C, but please give us the final answer after verifying the developping team.

  • Mark-san,

Have you verified the developing team ?

We need the information for the customer to make decision.

We're looking forward to hearing from you.

  • Kawai-San,

I confirmed as Mark-San mentioned maximum junction temperature is 125 Deg C.

Also, min/max supply is not mentioned in DS64MB201 data sheet. Please use DS64BR401 as guideline to get max junction temperature and other parameters(like min/max supply).

  • Nasser-san,

Thank you for confirming to the designer.

We have requirement from customer to correct typo on the datasheet.

Could you please revise the datasheet.

    Best Regards,
