Hey community,
I am looking for a MUX which supports Serial LVDS. I found the DS10CP154A 1.5 Gbps 4x4 LVDS Crosspoint Switch. I can use this switch to run 4 inputs and 1 output to get a 4:1 MUX, right? Are there bigger ones than this one?
Do you think it is possible to use the MUX in between some high speed ADCs and an FPGA LVDS pin pair?
Thanks
Carsten

The DS10CP154A could be used as a 4:1 mux, there is also an 8x8 crosspoint switch, the SN65LVCP408 which could give you an 8:1 mux.

Hi,
thank you for answering, Mark. I saw the SN65LVCP408. It offers, according to the datasheet no LVDS support (it is not mentioned, rather than it says NO support for LVDS) though.
However, is it possible with the SN65LVCP408?
Hi Carsten,
The SN65LVCP408 does not support LVDS outputs. The SN65LVDS250 and SN65LVDS125A support LVDS though but they will not provide you with an 8:1 mux.

Mike
