Are there USB drivers available to support Windows 7 for SD387EVK? The drivers included in the Analog Launchpad appear to be XP only.

I've was unable to locate Win7 USB drivers for ALP. Only found XP/Vista drivers. Hopefully Product Apps. for this particular device can help out.
ALP will not run under Win 7, but I have been able to run it with 'Virtual Windows XP' on my Win 7 machine.
Hi, i have installed ALP in Virtual Windows XP. But a problem comes, i can't install the driver successfully. I mean the Virtual Windows XP can't read my EVM device. Can you give me a help?
Please follow these instructions to run ALP in Windows XP Mode for Windows 7:
Launch Microsoft XP Mode by clicking on Start > All Programs > Windows Virtual PC > Windows XP Mode. Once Windows XP is running, install the ALP software within Windows XP by running the executable file provided by TI (e.g. ALPF_04062010_128_0002.exe). It may be easiest to access this file via a USB flash drive.
Here are the steps to install the ALP software once the setup installation wizard has started (from the SD387EVK User's Guide):
Connect the SPA dongle to the PC with the supplied USB cable. Inside your Windows XP window, select the USB drop-down menu at the top of the window and click on "NSC USB NANO - Attach" to associate the USB device connected to your PC with Windows XP.
The first time the SPA dongle is attached to your PC with Windows XP running, you should see the "Found New Hardware Wizard" open. Proceed to install the USB driver via the following steps (from the SD387EVK User's Guide):
(If the "Found New Hardware Wizard" does not open when the SPA dongle is first attached to the PC, you may need to check in the Device Manager inside Windows XP to locate the USB device and update the driver.)
This completes the ALP software and USB driver installation, and the ALP program may now be launched (with the SPA dongle connected to the PC).
Hi, thanks for so detailed solution. However, in fact, my problem is that the "Found New Hardware Wizard" does not open when the EVM is first attached to the PC, also I can't find the USB device in the Device Manager inside Windows XP. However, i can find the USB device in the Device Manager inside Windows7. But the driver is not ok for Windows7. So i can't finish updating the driver. Also i can see "NSC USB NANO - Attach" in Windows XP. But when clicking it, it just tell me to restart the Windows XP or change for another USB port. I think that if i can find the USB device in the Device Manager inside Windows XP, my problem will be solved. Can you give me any comments?
You need to first associate the USB device with Windows XP by clicking on the USB drop-down menu within Windows XP Mode to select "NSC USB NANO - Attach" BEFORE the driver can be installed. Until this step is completed, the "Found New Hardware Wizard" will not open and the USB device will not show up in the Windows XP Device Manager. If your PC is preventing you from completing this step then you will not be able to properly install the USB driver.
Can you try a different USB port on the PC, or a different PC? The ALP USB driver is not compatible with Windows 7, so if you tried to install the driver directly in Windows 7 then this may have caused issues with Windows XP Mode recognizing the USB device via the associated USB port.
For Windows XP Mode to recognize the USB device in order to install the driver, here again is what you need to do:
With Windows XP Mode running, connect the SPA dongle to the PC via the USB cable (the EVM does not need to be connected to the SPA dongle for this step). Click on the USB drop-down menu to select "NSC USB NANO - Attach". Then you should see the "Found New Hardware Wizard". If the wizard does not open, you should still be able to see the USB device within the Windows XP Device Manager.
