TL16C752C Vs. TL16C754C, SW compatibility Question

Garmin has the following question:

Can you confirm that TL16C(P)752C and TL16C(P)754C are equivalent from a software perspective (excluding DMA capabilities)? It looks like one is just the dual and the other the quad, but I want to make sure before moving forward.

I reviewed the register sets, and they look the same from that perspective.

Thoughts?

Indeed, both devices could be seen as software compatible, since the configuration registers are the same for each channel, therefore the difference arise on the way to select the desired channel.
