Hi, I have got DP83640T-EVK/NOPB EVM. In the user guide it says for register access use
Analog LaunchPAD Software.
But i am facing problem while installing this driver. I have followed this steps for installation:
1. Run the installation executable ALPF_{date_rel}.exe, e.g. ALPF_09072007_2.exe, which
will install all components including the application and relevant drivers with the exception
of the ALP USB drivers.
2. Proceed to the Drivers directory located in the \Program Files\National Semiconductor Corp\
Analog LaunchPAD v_rel_\ installation directory and run ALPUSBDriver.exe to install the ALP
USB driver. The "v_rel_" stands for the version number of the ALPF application software that
you have installed.
3. Plug the device into the PC.
4. If prompted for a driver, point the installation wizard to the Drivers directory specifed in step
2 above.
But at the end of the 4th step the hardware wizard says "The location you specified does not
contain any device information files" and i even tried install the software
automatically[Recommended] but that did not work either.
Any suggestions on this would be appreciated.
